Position Summary
OrganizedWisdom Health is the world's first human-powered, physician-guided search service for health. We're a venture-backed company founded by experienced entrepreneurs looking for an outstanding Director of Advertising Sales and Sponsorship to join our team full-time and be responsible for generating advertising revenue, building long-term strategic partnerships and increasing our marketplace reputation. This person will work with senior management and will be expected to help us grow our advertising revenue by providing strategic advertising solutions designed to maximize client goals and objectives.
We only hire motivated superstars and we're looking for people with exceptional online ad sales experience, relationships at agencies (preferably pharma) and a rolodex focused around pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and consumer packaged goods companies. Key Requirements:
- Online ad sales experience required - with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals and delivering significant revenue.
- Online ad sales to pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer healthcare manufacturers and their advertising agencies is preferred.
- You must excel at presenting to pharma advertising agencies and their clients - developing innovative and creative new ways to package sponsorships with unique, condition-specific online health content.
- You develop solid and long term relationships with clients and brands.
- You must feel comfortable working within a start up environment and developing the rules instead of following them.
- You must contribute energy, enthusiasm and value to the people you interact with. You're a self-starter, organized and don't need to be micromanaged...you make things happen.
- You will need to get your hands dirty and understand more than just the high level parts of the sales process. To be successful you will need to work hard to achieve all of your clients needs.
- You must live near or in between New York or Philadelphia as most clients and their agencies are located here.
Day to Day Responsibilities

Modifying and Making Presentations
- Packaging proposals, decks, responding to client RFPs
- Team coordination to optimize CPM's and effectively deliver results

Sales servicing and daily account management
-
Coordinate and work with Editorial for proper trafficking of impressions
- Working with team to automate sales/marketing process

Confirming Proper Invoicing and A/R Management

Coordinate and work with Editorial for proper trafficking of impressions

Prospecting
- Foster relationships with pharma agencies, pharma and vertical ad networks
- Follow up with new leads within 24 hours and tracked in our CRM system

Closing Business
- Team coordination to optimize CPM's and effectively deliver results

Administrative
- Maintain Daily Revenue Dashboard: Pipeline, revenue closed, CPM's, etc
- Ongoing updates with where deals, relationships and projects are in their lifecycle.
