Announcing the StartUp 'Mobile' Health Pavilion at mHealth Summit - A Launchpad for Mobile Health StartUps

We're excited to announce the StartUp 'Mobile' Health Pavilion at mHealth Summit.

The StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion is a collaborative effort from StartUp Health, the new growth academy we have launched to help grow and support 1,000 new health IT and wellness companies over the next 10 years, and Health IT accelerators Rock Health, Blueprint Health and Healthbox.

The StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion joins the 2011 mHealth Summit as a launch showcase for up to 40 of today's most innovative seed and early stage startups that are impacting mobile health, many of which were founded within the last year…some within the last few months.  Attendees will have a chance to engage directly with the entrepreneurs and founders, demo their mHealth applications and discuss how the use of wireless technology can improve healthcare delivery and patient care.

Presenting The 40 Most Innovative Mobile Health StartUps
StartUp Health, Rock Health, Blueprint Health and Healthbox are in the process of selecting up to 40 of the most innovative mobile health startups today and invite them to present and demo their offerings as part of the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion. Thanks to the generous support of the mHealth Summit sponsors, each company will get a free exhibit space in the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion to demo their mobile app and will be invited by StartUp Health to participate in a mobile health Roundtable being organized by StartUp Health.

Selected Companies Receive Free Exhibit Kiosks in the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion
As an invited exhibitor, you will be able to position your company as a cutting edge startup in the mHealth ecosystem, make connections with leaders across various areas of the health industry, foster new partnerships, collaborate with key decision makers and interact with a global audience—all focused on mHealth.

Exhibitors in the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion will be provided with the following for free:

If you meet the criteria outlined in the section below and are interested in showcasing your company at the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion, please complete the short application listed on the StartUp Health website here to be considered. Your application will be reviewed by the selection committee and then you will be contacted to schedule your first interview.

Criteria
Companies must meet the following criteria to be considered for the StartUp Mobile Health Pavilion. Leading applicants will be chosen by a selection committee made up of StartUp Health, Rock Health, Blueprint Health and Healthbox. The group will select up to 40 of the most deserving early stage startups who also meet the following criteria to participate and get free demo space:

1. Have a mobile health app, product or service that is ready for live demonstration
2. Be an early stage company or startup
3. Have a working prototype or demo ready to present on devices that you provide
4. Ability to pay for own travel, room and board (no money will be provided by organizers)
5. Arrive no later than 10am on December 5th  
6. Remain stationed at kiosk during all exhibit hours (11am through 7pm on December 5th and 6th; 10am through 3pm on December 7th)
