Press Release: OrganizedWisdom Launches Health Provider WisdomCards Helping Patients Find Vital Research, Reviews and Web Sites on the Top Practicing Physicians, Dentists and Psychologists in the US
San Francisco, Health 2.0 Conference, October 22, 2008 – OrganizedWisdom Health announced today that it is adding Health Provider WisdomCards to its rapidly growing library of 20,000 WisdomCards on top conditions, illnesses, treatments and drugs. WisdomCards, which are hand-crafted search results, will be created on the top practicing physicians, dentists, and psychologists in the United States to help people more easily find the most useful reviews, ratings, facts, web sites, articles, news and blogs about their doctors all in one place. This new resource will also engage health providers in the process by making it easier to review and enhance their online reputation.
“Everyone 'Googles' their doctor,” said Howard Krein, MD, PhD, the Chief Medical Officer of OrganizedWisdom. “People want to know what information and resources are out there about their health providers and we make it easier for the them find it. In addition to great resources such as HealthGrades, Vitals, change:healthcare and Yelp, we also help patients find everything else they might want to know about their health provider in one place.”
Health providers and their patients are able to help enhance any
WisdomCard by recommending missing links or other useful resources.
All suggested links are reviewed before being officially added to any
WisdomCard.
